2 day seminar

Description: A Review of Body Systems and Solutions for Individuals with Mobility Impairments To understand the full impact of mobility impairments, we need to understand the basic function of bodily systems.  Often overlooked, immobility can lead to issues with musculoskeletal, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary and integumentary (skin) systems.  In order to provide solutions, these systems need to be explored and understood.  This two day course will provide a better understanding of the complications that can occur in the bodily systems and how to address them through seating and positioning as well as postural change. Our goal in this program is to provide a better understanding of how to improve our clients’ independence and quality of life.

Presenters:
Karen “Missy” Ball, MT, PT, ATP
