For those who want to move around the house and focus on function while standing, we have created the Mobile Option for the EasyStand Evolv. To maximize transfer room, the push rims move forward when the kneepad is flipped up (a feature that is unique to the Evolv with the Mobile Option).

Utilizing a high efficiency chain drive, the drive wheel and push rim mechanisms are closer to the user, improving propulsion and steering while standing. Wheel locks secure the stander while transferring and provide safe stationary standing. Most people who can propel a manual wheelchair can use the Evolv with the self-propelled mobility option.

Benefits of Dynamic Standing
Standing mobility provides moreindependence and opportunity. Allowing the user to move about the house or classroom provides enhanced functionality while standing. Dynamic (mobile) standing for youth is especially important because it allows them to independently explore their environment and have more interaction with peers. Dynamic standers have been used to perform various activities, from doing dishes to “wheeling” up the aisle to get married.
