Start Small, Grow Tall

EasyStand Bantam for Kids

Jaece Juve-Belden
Cerebral Palsy, 28”

To gain the greatest benefits, a child with a disability should start standing around the same time as their able-bodied peers, which is usually around one year of age. The EasyStand Bantam stander promotes early intervention for children as small as 28” tall.

The EasyStand Bantam stander is designed to ease the transition from a supine stander, typically seen in an early intervention program, to a sit-to-stand stander, often used in schools. By combining supine positioning with sit-to-stand, the Bantam allows a smaller child to start their standing program from supine, then progress to the preferred sit-to-stand method of standing as they grow taller and heavier.

The Bantam Extra Small and Small will stand your child from 28”- 54” tall. The EasyStand Evolv line of standing frames will stand people from 4 ‘- 6’2” tall weighing up to 280 pounds. Research, anecdotal evidence and common sense say people who are compliant with a lifetime standing program have better physical, cognitive, social and vocational outcomes.
