EasyStand Bantam Mobile

The EasyStand Bantam is available with a self-propelled Mobile option for children who are on-the-go!  If your child has the strength to propel a manual wheelchair, the Bantam Mobile will allow them to move around while standing, and explore their environment like kids need to do!

Whether your child stands at home, school, or therapy, the Bantam with the Mobile option will provide new opportunities.  At school, they can play while standing and participate in activities like shooting baskets in phy-ed or “wheeling” down the hall while interacting at the same level as their peers. At home, they can reach toys on shelves in their bedroom, or get their own snack from the cupboard. Mobile standing can provide your child with a disability with enhanced independence and self-esteem, while their body benefits from being in the natural standing position.

The Bantam Mobile was created with safety and ease of use in mind. The depth adjustable push rims move out of the way for an easy transfer, and then can be re-positioned in the optimum spot for your child’s reach, even for use in the sitting position.  The angled drive wheels and high efficiency chain drive maximize your child’s propulsion and steering capabilities while standing.  A parent or caregiver can activate the wheel locks for safe transferring or stationary standing.

There are numerous research studies and articles that suggest enhanced benefits of standing when using a mobile/dynamic standing frame, due to self-propelling the stander and the psychological effects.
