Fulfilling Visions Through Charitable Giving
Altimate Medical is “Standing People, Changing Lives”. We are committed to fulfilling this vision for our customers, employees, and our communities. We are proud to be actively participating in charitable giving locally, nationally and globally.
Annual Holiday Giving Campaign
For the fifth consecutive year, Altimate Medical has made a donation to a disability related charity in lieu of mailing out printed Christmas cards. Some of the organizations who have benefited from this holiday giving campaign over the years include the National Spinal Cord Injury Association, Wheels for Humanity, United Cerebral Palsy, United Spinal Association, and most recently the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. We are proud to be connected to these organizations who are dedicated to helping people with mobility related disabilities.
Locally
Altimate Medical has helped support causes our employees are involved in, including sponsorship of sports' teams, local events at our schools & in the community and employees' children in athletic and academic endeavors. AMI has also sponsored various events that our employees participate in, such as the American Cancer Society's “Relay for Life” in Redwood and Renville Counties.
To aid in the development of our communities' business, wildlife, and safety, we have given to the Redwood Area Development Corporation, the Wild Turkey Federation, the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association, and other local organizations. Altimate Medical has also been a proud sponsor of Adopt-a-Highway, where our employees work together to keep our community's highways free of litter.
A group of Altimate Medical employees got involved with a local Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser. The “Altimate Cruisers Bruisers” wheelchair basketball team, along with other local teams had their chance to battle it out with the Southwest Minnesota State University Wheelchair Basketball Team. Most players were able-bodied and learned quickly just how challenging it is to operate a wheelchair. The event raised over $3,000 for the foundation.
